All of us here at AEC Outdoors want to help you make your online firearm purchase as simple and easy as possible. When purchasing a firearm online it can feel like a daunting task, but we can help with just a few simple steps
The hardest part of any firearm purchase, deciding on which firearm to purchase!! Once you have made you mind up your mind, give us a call and let us see what we can do to help you out with the best price, or make your purchase from a trusted website. One tip to remember is if its sold out everywhere and one place has the firearm at a great price, then it’s probably too good to be true!
When you purchase a firearm online it will be sent to AEC Outdoors for all the legal paperwork. For this to happen please give us a call and let us know! We will have to send a copy of our Federal Firearm License (FFL) to the dealer sending the firearm for it to be sent to our shop. Many large websites have our FFL on file. Just select AEC Outdoors as your FFL at checkout!
Once the firearm arrives at AEC it will have to be processed into our inventory. We strive to have this done quickly, but sometimes we do get overwhelmed with incoming shipments! Please allow 24 hours after your delivery conformation before contacting us about your firearm. When your firearm has been processed and ready to be picked up someone will contact you by text or phone to the number provided by the shipping dealer.
Picking up your firearms is a simple process. Just a little paperwork and it will be ready to go home with you. When you come to AEC Outdoors to get your firearm please bring a few things with you. Copy of your order from the dealer selling the firearm showing what was purchased and the following depending on your firearm.
Long Guns: Rifles and Shotguns: Valid government issued ID.
Handguns: Valid government issued ID for Oklahoma. Military members on PCS orders with out of state ID will need to bring a copy of their orders with them.
NFA Item: Valid government issued ID for Oklahoma. Military members on PCS orders with out of state ID will need to bring a copy of their orders with them. Copy of Trust information if registering as a trust with the NFA.
All firearm transaction will require a 4473 form and background check before the firearm will be released. Background checks normally only take a few minutes but can be delayed for multiple days. The firearm will not be released until the background has cleared or NICS released the request via the Brady Law. There is nothing we can do about this.
Once all the required paperwork is complete the firearm will be released to you to take home!!
